Audi A6 0-60 times

Out of all performance specs, nothing but Audi A6 0-60 times can better speak about the vehicle's temper. While horsepower and torque blow smoke in the eyes, A6 zero to sixty specs and average time to run a quarter mile are pretty straightforward metrics allowing to compare against its competitors.

Very often there is no chance of doing A6 0-to-60 test personally and making conclusions from the experience of the other drivers is the last thing you want.

Conducting a trustworthy test drive requires following a strict methodology that is intended to eliminate the inconsistent circumstances like weather, tires, surface, engine temperature. It is always better to leave it for professionals.

Increase Horsepower

The cold air part is also important in making more power. Cold air is denser and contains more oxygen molecules than warm air does. So if you can get cooler air into your Audi A6 engine, your car will be able to mix more fuel with that air, making more power. Combine that with the more air through the larger and less restrictive filter and intake tube and you can see up to a 15-20 horsepower increase. K&N has even reported an estimated increase of 56.96 horsepower out of the 57-2571 intake for 2007-2009 Shelby GT500!

Audi 2020 A6 remains a technological leader in the mid-size premium sedans, now in its second model year following colossal change last year. The A6 Dual Touch Infotainment Device is at the front and middle and positions climate control on the bottom and audio, telephone, navigation on the top screen. In contrast to the previous MMI based on the knob, the configurable device is more complicated but provides more exchange functions.

Advances also join the updated motor of the A6. A 48-volt mild-hybrid configuration complements the turbocharged V6 that marginally boosts fuel efficiency and improves the engine's stop-start activity. The A6 is a quiet, smooth luxury car like a big brother A8. But because of its smaller size, it gives sharper moves when the road bends.

The A6 has an understated quality which some people might be tempted to neglect in favor of something more audaciously crafted. However, we agree that the Audi's A6 is a perfect option for a medium-sized luxury sedan for its decent performance, high standards of conveniences, and rich standard and accessible technology.

The A6 will provide fantastic grip and quick acceleration if fitted with turbocharged V6, since it is available with summer tires. With 4.8 seconds, our test A6 was one of the best in the segment and ranged from 0 to 60 mph.

One of the hallmarks of the A6 is accurate controls. The linear braking response was given by our test car, and it stopped only at 103 feet at 60 mph. For such a comprehensive vehicle, the A6 has a remarkably high handling cap, mainly that the A6 is not the S6. At high speeds, you can hit long sweeping corners with great skill. It also copes well with quick changes of direction.

The 2020 A6 sedan is equipped with one of two motors. The basic A6 (called Audi the A6 45) is fitted with a 2,0 l/4-cylinder turbocharged (248 horsepower, 273 lb-ft of torque). The V6 edition (A6 55) is supplied with a 3.0-liter turbocharged electrically supplementing V6 (335 hp, 369 lb-ft of torque).

Both motors are coupled with the automatic 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and the all-wheel-drive feature Quattro from Audi.

There are three trim levels: Premium, Premium Plus and Prestige. Even the Prestige starter is well fitted with an 8,8-inch high screen and navigation setup, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and leather seats. The lane exit alert, heated mirrors and high-beam assist are the standard equipment for this year's model.

Along with other Premium trim components, the Premium Plus equipment contains Virtual Cockpit, Audi's configurable high-resolution instrument cluster, Bang & Olufsen audio equipment and a wide 10.1-inch navigation screen.

With a head-up monitor, power doors with soft close, dual-pane glass to eliminate internal noise, and LED backlights, Prestige improves its opulence. The top of the Audi A6 line also contains the Driver assistance kit (adaptive cruise control, lane centering, recognition of traffic sign, etc.) and the Executive kit (ventilated front seats, climate control of four zones and a power-operated trunk).

The A6 55 Premium is our choice on the A6 line. The V6 can add just $1200 over the four-cylinder at the Premium trim level, and even on this base version, the A6 comes with substantial technology and protection features.
