Audi R8 0-60 times

Out of all performance specs, nothing but Audi R8 0-60 times can better speak about the vehicle's temper. While horsepower and torque blow smoke in the eyes, R8 zero to sixty specs and average time to run a quarter mile are pretty straightforward metrics allowing to compare against its competitors.

Very often there is no chance of doing R8 0-to-60 test personally and making conclusions from the experience of the other drivers is the last thing you want.

Conducting a trustworthy test drive requires following a strict methodology that is intended to eliminate the inconsistent circumstances like weather, tires, surface, engine temperature. It is always better to leave it for professionals.

Increase Horsepower

The cold air part is also important in making more power. Cold air is denser and contains more oxygen molecules than warm air does. So if you can get cooler air into your Audi R8 engine, your car will be able to mix more fuel with that air, making more power. Combine that with the more air through the larger and less restrictive filter and intake tube and you can see up to a 15-20 horsepower increase. K&N has even reported an estimated increase of 56.96 horsepower out of the 57-2571 intake for 2007-2009 Shelby GT500!

When the Audi R8 debuted in 2008 with its sharp style and incredible performance, it caught the driving public's imagination. The second generation launched in 2017 is ahead of its predecessor, and the most recent development of the 2020 Audi R8 is revised with a welcome introduction and an improvement in power. For 2020, the R8 seems a bit more angular up front, but there's still no mistaking it for anything but an R8.

The base R8 is powered from 532 hp to 562 hp, while R8 Performance (formerly R8 Plus) is still unchanged at an inspired 602 hp. V10 motors were usable for ten years during the R8's run. And Audi offers a new Decennium model in limited editions to celebrate this landmark.

The differences are just cosmetic (and just color of metal black).
Exclusivity is guaranteed with only 50 examples intended for the US. In reality, some competing sports cars are best for the race track, while others have a higher value or the newest technologies.

However, the R8 provides a stirring performance and distinctive style with its high-rise non-turbo V10 engine that turns even heads. The Audi R8 V10 Performance offers the desired output of a sports car. Acceleration is elsewhere, with only 3.0 seconds exceeding 60 mph.

Control is indeed flawless, and the brakes are consistent and efficient.
Interestingly, it is how simple it is to discover its unbelievable capacity and how fun it is when you don't drop the hammer. The R8 steering contributes significantly to the total experience and strength, braking, and grip, with sufficient effort at low and high speeds, fast responses, and useful feedback.

The 2020 Audi R8 is eligible as a two-seat sports coupe or a convertible with all features. The basic R8 has a 5.2 liter V10 and a speed dual-clutch automatic transmission with seven speeds (562 horsepower, 406 lb/ft torque). The all-wheel-drive is standard.

The R8 performance (formerly called the R8 Plus) uses the same V10 with many control tweaks to increase its power (602 hp, 413 lb-ft). The standard R8 possesses such features as 19-inch wheels, LED outdoor lighting, automatically high beams, power-folding mirrors with heating and auto-dimming functions, front and rear parking sensors, a control spoiler, and adaptive dampers.

Within you can find leather upholstery, interactive tool panel, dual-zone automated cruise control, heated sports chairs, navigation devices, Audi Link remote telematics and control system, a wireless signal booster charging pad, access to Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and satellite radio with 13 Speaker Audio System Bang & Olufsen.

The more efficient R8 performance adds 20-inch wheels and summer tires, LED and laser headlights, sturdy carbon-fiber rear wing, ceramic braking, sport suspension, sport exhaust, seats in race design without backrest adjustments, and sport steering wheel.

A new Decennium R8 special version V10 capacity will be available for 2020. It comes with a black metallic coating, unique badging, matt bronze highlights on the motor and wheels, lots of black and carbon-fiber elements inside and out, and copper-colored interior stitching. We suggest the base R8 because its versatile dampers give both relaxed travel and good driving for most shoppers.
