Audi SQ5 0-60 times

Out of all performance specs, nothing but Audi SQ5 0-60 times can better speak about the vehicle's temper. While horsepower and torque blow smoke in the eyes, SQ5 zero to sixty specs and average time to run a quarter mile are pretty straightforward metrics allowing to compare against its competitors.

Very often there is no chance of doing SQ5 0-to-60 test personally and making conclusions from the experience of the other drivers is the last thing you want.

Conducting a trustworthy test drive requires following a strict methodology that is intended to eliminate the inconsistent circumstances like weather, tires, surface, engine temperature. It is always better to leave it for professionals.

Increase Horsepower

The cold air part is also important in making more power. Cold air is denser and contains more oxygen molecules than warm air does. So if you can get cooler air into your Audi SQ5 engine, your car will be able to mix more fuel with that air, making more power. Combine that with the more air through the larger and less restrictive filter and intake tube and you can see up to a 15-20 horsepower increase. K&N has even reported an estimated increase of 56.96 horsepower out of the 57-2571 intake for 2007-2009 Shelby GT500!

The Audi Q5 and Audi SQ5 are two versions of the same small luxury crossover SUV, as you may expect from looking at them side by side on a parking lot. The SQ5 offers more power and extra performance together with a few additional touches of luxury that help it feel a little bit luxurious.

The SQ5 has a 349 horsepower turbo-loaded V6 under the hood. It is 101 hp over the Q5 norm, and it's enough to make this family grocery-getter move fast. The BMW X3 M40i, the Mercedes-Benz GLC AMG 43, and the Porsche Macan S are competitors of the SQ5. The SQ5 offers a balance between sports and luxury. It's a bit slower than its competition – our test car has been sprinting in 5.3 seconds from 0 to 60 mph – but the SQ5 is still smooth and satisfying.

The brakes are predictable and easy to control. Stopping power is exemplary. The SQ5 is fast and fun, offering good agility and control related to the S part of its name. Their summer tires provide more maneuvering potential for a public road than you would need, and their stability control is less intrusive than Q5.

The wheel is fitted with comfortable handles and great support in the Comfort setting, making easy, fast steering inputs, for example, when you are in a small parking lot. The 2020 Audi SQ5 is a lightweight SUV of high-performance in Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige trims.

The Premium is a well-equipped base model with multiple luxury and comfort characteristics. The Luxury Plus edition provides a range of technical improvements, while the Elegance top trim doubles a creature's comfort. Premium edition includes the next features - 3.0-liter V6 with the turbo-load (349 horsepower, 369 lb-ft of torque), automatic transmission with eight speeds, adaptive suspension and modes of drive, 7-inch central display with access to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, audio system with ten speakers, advance crash warning, automated low-speed emergency braking.

The Premium's Convenience kit offers a blind-spot monitor, entry without key and rear collision sensors of alert. The Premium Plus trim has the same features as the Premium. Still, it also offers a panoramic sunroof, sensors for front and rear parking, an 8.3-inch navigation display panel, Audi's instrument panel Virtual Cockpit, wireless charging pad, and USB rear ports.

The top of the Audi SQ5 Prestige edition adds such features as a head-up display, Bang & Olufsen sound system with 19 speakers, an adaptive cruise control, warning and mitigation of lane departure, a 360-degree camera with parallel automatic and perpendicular parking.

Audi SQ5 also proposes the next additional features – Cold Weather kit (rear seats and steering wheel with heating function), Warm Weather Kit (front seats with ventilation function and improved leather upholstery), S Sport kit (air suspension rear and sport-tuned differential).

As all SQ5s are fitted with the same turbo-filled V6, the Premium model base is suggested. It is considerably cheaper than the topped-out Prestige model. Also, it has a lengthy list of essential features such as automated three-zone climate control, smartphone connection, and adaptive suspension. However, we advise that you use the Comfort Kit optional — it is worth the minor upgrade cost to provide blind-spot monitoring and a keyless entry.
