BMW M4 0-60 times

Out of all performance specs, nothing but BMW M4 0-60 times can better speak about the vehicle's temper. While horsepower and torque blow smoke in the eyes, M4 zero to sixty specs and average time to run a quarter mile are pretty straightforward metrics allowing to compare against its competitors.

Very often there is no chance of doing M4 0-to-60 test personally and making conclusions from the experience of the other drivers is the last thing you want.

Conducting a trustworthy test drive requires following a strict methodology that is intended to eliminate the inconsistent circumstances like weather, tires, surface, engine temperature. It is always better to leave it for professionals.

Increase Horsepower

The cold air part is also important in making more power. Cold air is denser and contains more oxygen molecules than warm air does. So if you can get cooler air into your BMW M4 engine, your car will be able to mix more fuel with that air, making more power. Combine that with the more air through the larger and less restrictive filter and intake tube and you can see up to a 15-20 horsepower increase. K&N has even reported an estimated increase of 56.96 horsepower out of the 57-2571 intake for 2007-2009 Shelby GT500!

The typical magic of BMW's renowned M-car range resides in its comfort balance and high performance. The 2020 BMW M4 is a brilliant example. The M4 is a world-class sport coupe thanks to a reliable six-cylinder motor, taut handling, and efficient braking, but you need not use it at a world-class level to enjoy it. It provides a comfortable seat, large trunk, and user-friendly features on daily trips or the city's long drives.

Sure, from the standard 4-series BMW coupe, you will get the same qualities. Although what you won't get is the brash alter ego of the M4, which keeps the tarmac tenaciously and accelerates wildly for up to 450 horsepower. Thanks to subtle styling changes, including larger fenders and a domed hood, it appears more intimidating than the usual 4 Series.

Unlike the 3 Series that BMW has updated for the model year 2019, the 4 Series and the M4 are unchanged for 2020. It indicates that the M4 is getting a little old, at least from a design and technological perspective. You can also notice the most thrilling competitor of the M4, the Mercedes-AMG C 63. In general, though, the M4 is still a perfect sports coupe that maximizes productivity as well as daily livability.

The M4 has quick acceleration, powerful breaks, and good manual transmission. The M4 speeded up in 4.3 seconds from 0 to 60 mph. The motor keeps perfect throttle response, and midrange packs a wallop that lasts till redline. The brakes are extreme and consistent power of stopping.

The driving and handling are less impressive to us. The steering is reliable, yet it lets you feel nothing, and in the sports driving approaches, it is overly strong. The sticky and broad summer tires work with the car's manageable balance for returning speeds of high cornering. While a joy on smooth paths, the M4, at least in the stiffer-riding Competition specification, has trouble dealing with bumps and dips. It can cause unwanted stability intervention of control.

The BMW M4 is based on the firm's 4 Series and is available as a coupe and convertible with a retractable hardtop. It features various standard features, beginning with a 3,0 liter (425 hp) turbocharged six-cylinder inline engine and either a manual transmission with six speeds or an optional seven-speed dual-clutch vehicle.

The performance spectrum is covered by an adjustable sport-fit suspension, an integrated rear differential, 18-inch wheels, and high-grip tires. The internal luxuries include leather upholstery, power-adjustable seats with heating, an 8,8-inch panel, Apple CarPlay, and 16-speaker sound systems with an infotainment setup.

Several usual driver supports include a forward collision alert, a warning of lane departure, a rearview camera, and Parktronic. Others are optional, such as blind-spot tracking.

There are also some optional principal bundles for the M4. The Competition kit boosts the M4 to 444 hp and features 20-inch wheels, updated adaptive suspension setups, even more, sporty exhaust, and other interior trim updates, including M stripes on the seat belts. The Executive kit offers adaptive LED headlights, automatic high beams, cameras of side and top view, automated parking systems, a head-up monitor, and information on speed restriction.

Other choices include carbon-ceramic braking systems, non-adaptive suspension systems, blind-spot monitoring, and charging pad without wire. You may also have a roof constructed of carbon fiber reinforced plastic or a conventional steel roof with a sunroof.

The BMW M4 Coupe 2020 comes in one level, so it includes choices to customize one to your design. The most important choice is the dual-clutch automatic or manual transmission. You will feel more dedicated to the manual, but the automated call is the best choice considering the purposeful role of the M4. You can think of the Competition kit with its bigger wheels and the upgrading suspension and drivetrain elements as a driver who appeals to shifting gears himself.
