Land Rover Range Rover 0-60 times

Out of all performance specs, nothing but Land Rover Range Rover 0-60 times can better speak about the vehicle's temper. While horsepower and torque blow smoke in the eyes, Range Rover zero to sixty specs and average time to run a quarter mile are pretty straightforward metrics allowing to compare against its competitors.

Very often there is no chance of doing Range Rover 0-to-60 test personally and making conclusions from the experience of the other drivers is the last thing you want.

Conducting a trustworthy test drive requires following a strict methodology that is intended to eliminate the inconsistent circumstances like weather, tires, surface, engine temperature. It is always better to leave it for professionals.

Increase Horsepower

The cold air part is also important in making more power. Cold air is denser and contains more oxygen molecules than warm air does. So if you can get cooler air into your Land Rover Range Rover engine, your car will be able to mix more fuel with that air, making more power. Combine that with the more air through the larger and less restrictive filter and intake tube and you can see up to a 15-20 horsepower increase. K&N has even reported an estimated increase of 56.96 horsepower out of the 57-2571 intake for 2007-2009 Shelby GT500!

Praised by many as one of the best, if not the best SUV out there, the Range Rover has been around for over forty years, without as many changes as you would suspect on its long run. This is a great sign of its outstanding quality and design from the get-go, and still, to this date, the Range Rover manages to deliver, stand out and impress even facing the strongest of competition.

The Range Rover comes in a variety of engine options from 340hp to a staggering 550hp. The lower-base level is a supercharged gasoline V-6 that puts out 332 lb-ft of torque, although many drivers seem to prefer the 3.0-liter turbodiesel V-6 that puts out 443 lb-ft of torque. In both cases, the 8-speed automatic helps you make the best out of the power of your engine.

If you want to up the specs, you can opt for the 5.0-liter supercharged V-8 that comes with most upper-trim models, that serves 510hp and accelerates from 0 to 60 in barely over 6 seconds. Since 2018, you also have the option to pick the P400e plug-in hybrid engine, which consists of a 296bhp four-cylinder gas engine and a 114bhp electric motor with autonomy of more than 30 miles.

Regarding dimensions, you can opt for a short wheelbase, which has a much nicer proportion, but the longer wheelbase adds a much-appreciated room at the back for extra load and comfort for the back seat passengers.

Powerful and all, the Range Rover is extremely easy to steer, even with a load on, and the height of the vehicle can be adjusted to either facilitate getting on and off, or drive across rocky terrain without much of a flinch. The wheels are probably a little bit too big for our taste, and that adds a bit of bumpiness to the driving experience, but the suspension manages to absorb most of the energy anyway, so it’s not that much of a problem in the end. The Range Rover rides on all-four, but you can adjust the traction from the cabin using the handy control panel.

Speaking of which, the interiors also provide an excellent, luxury experience, especially in higher trims. The elegant design of the cabin captivates the eye and gives it a sense of posh and power at the same time. On top of the dashboard sits a 10.0-inch touchscreen that does not only provide infotainment but also allows the driver to control many of the settings of the SUV. Of course, if you go to the higher end of the price range, you will get all the luxury finishings, including high-quality leather upholstery.
