Mercedes-Benz AMG C43 0-60 times
Out of all performance specs, nothing but Mercedes-Benz AMG C43 0-60 times can better speak about the vehicle's temper. While horsepower and torque blow smoke in the eyes, AMG C43 zero to sixty specs and average time to run a quarter mile are pretty straightforward metrics allowing to compare against its competitors.
Very often there is no chance of doing AMG C43 0-to-60 test personally and making conclusions from the experience of the other drivers is the last thing you want.
Conducting a trustworthy test drive requires following a strict methodology that is intended to eliminate the inconsistent circumstances like weather, tires, surface, engine temperature. It is always better to leave it for professionals.

Car enthusiasts often want the best-performing cars, models like the BMW 3-Series or the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG. However, those cars may be too fast for the road and honestly, you can have fun with a less-powerful engine.
That was the thinking behind the Mercedes-Benz AMG C43. This sporty version of the C-Class is not just fun-to-drive, but also offers a more subdued, luxurious everyday ride. If your sporty driving needs are satisfied only with the occasional blast on a B-road and not a race track, we think this particular model might be a great option.
Mercedes-Benz AMG C43 Performance
The AMG C43 is equipped with a 3.0-liter V6 engine with two turbos, that help it achieve 362 horsepower and 384 pound-feet of torque. Thanks to the turbochargers, this unit has a strong thrust even from lower engine revolutions, which translates into zippy 0-60 mph time of 4.6 seconds. It is fast and it feels fast, albeit not as aggressive as the C63 AMG and its V8 monster of an engine.
The 9-speed automatic transmission is nicely suited to the engine and provides fast shifts, especially when the driver opts for the paddles behind the steering wheel. The standard AMG C43 comes with a rear-wheel-drive layout, but there’s an optional all-wheel drive. Both models offer great driving dynamics and involvement – the AWD is even rear-biased for a more engaging character.
The best thing about the AMG C43 is that it doesn’t lose from the comfort you associate with a Mercedes-Benz vehicle. It comes standard with adaptive dampers, which help the driver choose between a more comfortable ride or better driving dynamics.
Exterior & Interior
The standard C-Class looks a bit subdued in all forms, be it a sedan, coupe or convertible. We are fans of this design as it suits the character of the vehicle, as much as the AMG styled upgrades suit the sporty driving character of the C43 model. These models get larger air intakes in the front, a set of spoilers, satin chrome splitter in the front, silver diffuser in the back and 19-inch AMG-styled wheels. Overall, we like the result – the AMG C43 looks elegant, yet muscular and sporty.
Inside, Mercedes-Benz once again shows that it knows how to make pleasant interiors. The dash looks extravagant thanks to the sculpted center console, big circular air-vents, nicely integrated and stylized buttons, and a combination of colors and materials that exude quality and sportiness. The fit and finish are also superb – this is definitely one of the best interiors in the sports sedan class. The only gripe we have with the interior is the center display, which looks like an aftermarket solution and is a real eye-sore when compared to other interior surfaces.
The Mercedes-Benz AMG C43 has almost everything an enthusiast driver might want. The engine is powerful enough for a blast on a mountain road, the driving dynamics suit it well, and the design is also eye-catching, inside and outside.
