Nissan Titan 0-60 times

Out of all performance specs, nothing but Nissan Titan 0-60 times can better speak about the vehicle's temper. While horsepower and torque blow smoke in the eyes, Titan zero to sixty specs and average time to run a quarter mile are pretty straightforward metrics allowing to compare against its competitors.

Very often there is no chance of doing Titan 0-to-60 test personally and making conclusions from the experience of the other drivers is the last thing you want.

Conducting a trustworthy test drive requires following a strict methodology that is intended to eliminate the inconsistent circumstances like weather, tires, surface, engine temperature. It is always better to leave it for professionals.

Increase Horsepower

The cold air part is also important in making more power. Cold air is denser and contains more oxygen molecules than warm air does. So if you can get cooler air into your Nissan Titan engine, your car will be able to mix more fuel with that air, making more power. Combine that with the more air through the larger and less restrictive filter and intake tube and you can see up to a 15-20 horsepower increase. K&N has even reported an estimated increase of 56.96 horsepower out of the 57-2571 intake for 2007-2009 Shelby GT500!

Although not the strongest truck in the lineup, the Nissan Titan can do its job and provide most of the basics truck drivers are looking for. Its 390 hp served by a V-8 allowing the vehicle to tow up to 11,720 lbs. depending on the trim.

Even if it looks like a quite impressive and imposing heavy duty truck – both the Titan and Titan XD presenting a unique and distinctive look that give them their respective design identity-, its actual performance is subpar to similar models from other companies. On the bright side, it is a bit more affordable, so if you want a vehicle that is all about the looks and has a decent performance, if you don’t mind it doesn’t behave as a luxury SUV but rather as a serviceable and reasonable utilitarian vehicle, then the Nissan Titan is the one for you.

Now regarding the 5.6-liter V-8, the standard Titan comes with a gas engine, but you can opt for the diesel version if you want. Interestingly enough, test drives suggest that the engine runs more smoothly in town than on rocky roads, which is to some degree due to the transmission not quite getting the grasp to downshift when appropriate.

It's handling, and steering also leaves something to be desired, and are less accurate than similar trucks from other companies, partly due to the size and weight of this massive vehicle.

The Nissan Titan has a more than competent suspension system with double wishbones on the front and leaf suspension in the back, plus hydraulic mounts to protect the passengers and driver from the bounciness caused by the back load. This system is improved and reinforced in the XD trim, as well as a stronger chassis and an American Axle differential that, among other features, help it stand out of the line.

The interior of the truck could use some updates, but those have more to do with aesthetic design or style than with functionality. Sitting inside one of these trucks is very comfortable. The cabin is very roomy, and the seats are cushy, and higher-level trims feature leather covers. The control panel isn’t visually appealing, but it does feature all essential functions plus a couple of gadgets and safety utilities. The infotainment system needs to expand on its functionality and compatibility to properly compete with other full-size trucks that are currently available in the market, especially nowadays that entertainment during holidays and long trips is rising in demand.

The Nissan Titan doesn’t excel in any of its aspects, but it is an all-around serviceable full-truck, and if you prioritize budget over luxury, and still want to get all the basics covered and even pull out some big guy’s truck’s looks, then the Titan is probably an option you should consider.
